Race Tier List

Overview

This tier list is a general PvE / progression ranking. It looks at overall value (damage, survivability, mobility and economy) rather than raw rarity. Every race is usable higher tiers are simply more efficient or forgiving in most scenarios.

S
Tier

Meta-defining races that can carry almost any build with top-tier damage, utility and safety.

Wings give huge mobility, dash buffs and stamina, while massive luck and on-hit smite make Angel busted for both farming and bossing.

Huge boosts to movement, attack speed and physical damage plus burns and hellfire circles give Demon insane DPS and clear in any content.

A
Tier

Extremely strong races with great stats or economy that shine in most builds.

Bonus HP, bonus height and flat physical damage combined with a strong burn passive make Dragonborn a top choice for bossing and melee.

High HP and size plus Rage Mode make Minotaur a bruiser that shreds enemies once it's under half health.

Very high HP, size and damage reduction plus heavy-weapon attack speed turn Golem into a tank that can punish enemies while face-tanking.

Shop discounts plus speed and dagger synergy make Goblin a progression monster: it prints money early and stays strong in agile DPS builds.

B
Tier

Strong but situational races that feel great with the right playstyle, but have clearer weaknesses.

Great offensive stats and a dodge passive reward skilled play, but the HP penalty and RNG make Shadow less consistent than S / A races.

Reflect damage and the second chance heal are very forgiving, but lower base HP and no direct DPS boosts keep Undead out of top tiers.

C
Tier

Usable but niche races that work fine, yet are usually outclassed once you unlock better options.

Extra damage and HP are good, but stamina and movement penalties make Orc feel clunky compared to Minotaur or Golem.

Amazing miner race with big mining damage and forge bonuses, but only average combat and a small movement penalty.

D
Tier

Playable but weak races that get overshadowed quickly as you unlock better options.

Stamina and tiny luck are nice quality-of-life buffs, but the numbers are too small to compete with higher-impact races.

Regen and lifesteal are fun, but the huge max-HP nerf makes Zombie too risky when tankier defensive races exist.

F
Tier

Starter race that works early on, but should be swapped out once you unlock anything else.

Small luck and XP boosts are okay early, but every other race offers stronger combat or progression bonuses, so Human ends up as the weakest pick.
