Cardboardite is the universe’s way of trolling Forgers in Stonewake’s Cross. It looks like discarded packaging wedged in the rock, yet somehow refines into shockingly sturdy plates and padding that show up in all sorts of utility builds and budget armour sets.

Despite the name and appearance, Cardboardite shows up in surprising places: shield cores, packing-themed cosmetics, even some advanced blueprint recipes that need a “cheap but weirdly strong” component. Most Forgers only realise its value after they’ve been ignoring it for hours.
