The Goblin Cave is a secret area in The Forge that requires completing a series of quests from the Goblin King. This guide will walk you through exactly how to find the Goblin Village, complete all 5 quests, and unlock the cave.

Fair warning: the Goblin King's quests will cost you a total of 85,000 gold plus various gems. You'll even get a badge at the end that basically says you got scammed — but the Goblin Cave is worth it!

Step 1: Finding the Goblin Village

The Goblin Village is located in the Forgotten Kingdom, which is the second island area in the game. Here's exactly how to get there:

Travel to the Forgotten Kingdom

Make your way to the second island area called the Forgotten Kingdom. This is where all the Goblin content is located.

From Spawn: Go Forward-Right

When you first spawn in the Forgotten Kingdom, head forward and slightly to the right. You'll see the main forge area ahead.

Pass the Main Forge Area

Continue past the main forge area. To the left of the forge, you'll notice the Enhancing Area and the Rune Maker Area.

Continue Down the Path

Keep following the path past the enhancing and rune maker areas. The Goblin Village is a bit off the main path, so keep going until you reach it.

Find the Goblin King

Once you're in the Goblin Village, look for the Goblin King NPC. Speak to him to start the quest line!

The Goblin Village is slightly hidden off the beaten path. If you're having trouble finding it, look for the area with multiple goblin NPCs gathered together.

Step 2: Complete All 5 Goblin King Quests

The Goblin King has 5 quests you must complete in order. Each quest requires gold and increasingly rare gems. Here's the complete breakdown:

Quest 1 The Goblin's Greeting

The first quest is simple — the Goblin King just wants some gold to "prove your worth." This is the cheapest quest, so consider it an entry fee.

Now the Goblin King wants gold AND gems. You'll need to bring him 3 Topaz gems along with 10,000 gold.

Quest 3 Diamond Demands

The demands increase! Now you need 5 Diamonds and 15,000 gold. Diamonds are rarer than Topaz, so you may need to spend more time mining.

Quest 4 Emerald Extortion

Quest 5 Ruby Ransom (Final Quest!)

The final quest! The Goblin King demands 5 Rubies and a whopping 25,000 gold. Complete this and you'll receive the Goblin Cave Key!

After completing all 5 quests, you'll receive a special badge that basically acknowledges you got scammed by the Goblin King. Wear it with pride (or shame)!

How to Get the Required Gems

You'll need a total of 18 gems across 4 different types. Here's how to farm each one:

💛 Topaz 3 Required

Topaz is the most common gem you'll need. Here's how to get it:

Mine ore nodes throughout the game — Topaz has a chance to drop from various ores
Focus on consistent mining rather than specific areas
You only need 3, so this shouldn't take long

💙 Diamond 5 Required

Diamonds are rarer and require more focused farming:

Mine in deeper, higher-level areas for better drop rates

Diamonds may also drop from certain enemies or chests

💚 Emerald 5 Required

Emeralds require dedicated farming:

Found in specific mining areas — explore different zones
Higher-tier ores have better chances of dropping Emeralds

Rubies are the rarest gems you'll need:

Focus on end-game mining areas for the best Ruby drop rates
The Magma area is a good spot — you can farm essences for money at the same time!

Step 3: Unlock the Goblin Cave

Once you've completed all 5 quests, you'll receive the Goblin Cave Key. Now it's time to use it!

Find the Goblin Cave Door

From the Goblin King's location, head to the back-right side of the Goblin Village. You'll find a locked door there.

Equip the Goblin Cave Key

Open your inventory and equip the Goblin Cave Key that you received from completing the quest line.

Interact with the Door

Walk up to the door and press E (or the interact button on your device) to unlock it. On mobile or other platforms, use your standard interact control.

Enter the Goblin Cave!

The door will open, revealing the Goblin Cave inside. Congratulations — you've unlocked one of The Forge's secret areas!
